15th June, 12.00 – 16.00
EU house Slovenia, Dunajska 20
The event brings together LGBTIQ+ youth and decision-makers in the field of youth policy and other relevant fields.
We will present the findings from a survey on discrimination and violence based on sexual orientation and/or gender identity against the LGBTIQ+ youth in Slovenia, which was carried out by the Ljubljana Pride Association and which encompasses more than 490 young people between 16 and 30 years old. Moreover, young LGBTIQ+ people will publicly address the decision-makers and articulate their demands and proposals for systemic changes.
The event will take place in the context of the structured dialogue, a process for discussions between young people and policy makers about different themes, to make sure the opinions of young people are taken into account in defining the local, national and EU level youth policies.
The event is supported by Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme
