DESCRIPTION:SQVOT Living Room – festival edition\nCommunity Event\n________________\nEvent will be held in Slovene and English. \nOrganised by: Ljubljana Pride Association in cooperation with Škuc association \nVisibility of LGBTIQ+ people is of the utmost importance both for individuals and for the community as a whole\, and being a part of the LGBTIQ+ community can give us a sense of belonging\, it feels like we are seen\, like we are stronger together. Having similar challenges and experiences makes it easier for us to support and encourage each other\, which is especially important when we feel lonely and overlooked.\nThe community events that we organise at SQVOT serve as visible symbols of our existence and the importance of community for the individual. The same goes for the festival version of our SQVOT Living Room\, where we will be making products in the colours of the community to support our visibility\, while reflecting on what visibility and belonging to the LGBTIQ+ community mean to each and every one of us. We will translate our thoughts and creativity into small indicators of our community\, which we will then proudly wear to the Parade a week later.

DESCRIPTION:International Queer Solidarity: Images of Resilience and Hope (II)\nExhibition\n________________\nEvent will be held in Slovene. \nOrganised by: Ljubljana Pride Association in collaboration with the Alkatraz Gallery \nWe welcome you to the opening event of the second part of the art exhibition International Queer Solidarity: Images of Resilience and Hope. The exhibition focuses on raising awareness of the struggle for survival and existence of LGBTIQ+ people and community in Ukraine in the current state of war. It showcases the importance of international queer solidarity in the lives of LGBTIQ+ people living in Ukraine and the ones that had to flee to other parts of Europe and the world due to war. \nThe exhibition in the Alkatraz Gallery will be on display until June 30th. We also cordially invite you to see the first part of the exhibition in the Right Atrium of the Ljubljana City Hall. \n  \nExhibiting artists: Oleksandr Halishchuk (Austria)\, Anton Karyuk (Lithuania)\, Oleksa Konopelko (Ukraine)\, Lazutkina Elena (Germany) and Seymour Nezoriy (Ukraine). \nCurator: Iris Pokovec
