DESCRIPTION:Guided tour of the exhibition International Queer Solidarity: Images of Resilience and Hope (II)\n________________\nEvent will be held in English. \nWe invite you to a guided tour of the International Queer Solidarity: Images of Resilience and Hope exhibition in Alkatraz Gallery with the curator Iris Pokovec. We will meet in front of Celica Hostel in AKC Metelkova mesto at 18.00. Together we will see the exhibition of works by Ukrainian LGBTIQ+ artists and learn more about the stories behind their works and the theme of the exhibition in general. Please note: the tour will be held in English language. \nWe also invite you to the other part of the guided tour of the International Queer Solidarity: Images of Resilience and Hope exhibition\, which will take place on Wednesday\, June 14th\, at 18.00 in the Right Atrium of the Ljubljana City Hall.

This year you will be able to experience: \n\ninfo stalls of LGBTIQ+ and ally organisations\,\nLiving Library\,\nmake-up corner\,\nred carpet where you can take fabulous photos with LGBTIQ+ celebrities\,\ngreen corner addressing the importance of the impact of climate change on young people (part of the Sustainable Activism project)\,\nraffle\,\nchildren’s corner for arts and crafts\,\nfairy tale reading with Alenka Spacal and\nface painting.\n\nAnd like every year you will be able to purchase all the necessary accessories for a truly rainbow Pride Day – flags\, jewelry\, fans and other materials in all colours.

DESCRIPTION:Pride March\n________________\n17:00  gathering at AKC Metelkova mesto\n18:00  march on the streets of Ljubljana\n19:00  political and cultural programme \nMarch venue: stavba Lovci\, AKC Metelkova mesto → Kongresni trg \nEvent will be held in Slovene and English. \nThe pride march represents the central event of the Pride Parade. It is a protest march charged with energy and colours celebrating the existence and perseverance of the LGBTIQ+ community. It is a space where demands for visibility\, equality and respect get a voice. Join us! Diverse communities\, one fight! \nThe march starts at 17.00 with the gathering at AKC Metelkova mesto\, in front of building Lovci. Participants get all their rainbow equipment\, they prepare themselves for the march with political banners and start marching at 18.00. The march follows Masarykova street passing by Ljubljana’s main train station\, once at Bavarski dvor\, the protest continues towards the center and finishes at Kongresni square\, where the political and cultural programme continues from 19.00 onwards\, with Masayah\, Alleganca group and many others.
