SUMMARY:Presentation of the Work of the Ljubljana Pride Association at TGEU
DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, 11 September 2026\, as part of the TGEU conference in Ljubljana\, we will present the work of Ljubljana Pride Association\, including our programmes\, activities\, and achievements\, with a particular focus on international opportunities for connection\, collaboration\, and networking. \nTGEU (Trans Europe and Central Asia) is a trans-led nonprofit organisation working for the rights and wellbeing of trans people across Europe and Central Asia. \nFrom 11–13 September 2026\, the 10th TGEU European and Central Asian Trans Council will take place in Ljubljana\, Slovenia\, co-hosted by Legebitra and TransAkcija. Every two years\, this landmark gathering brings together around 200 trans activists from across Europe and Central Asia to shape the direction of trans politics in the region\, while celebrating the strength\, resilience\, and diversity of our communities.

Join us and Društvo DIH if you’re into learning eco-friendly crafts\, sharing your skills with others and hanging out in a safe space. All queers and allies welcome!  \nWe encourage you to bring along some unwanted materials and lend any tools you have lying around\, so we can together make the event as green as possible.  \nMake bracelets\, earrings\, necklaces and more in the colours of your favourite pride flag or spell out a saucy slogan with beads to wear yourself or gift to the people dear to you. Alternatively you can donate your creation to us to distribute it to the community. 🦄

DESCRIPTION:This September a group of young queer people will represent Ljubljana Pride on a Youth Exchange “Where Hope Grows”. \nFor the third time already we will visit Metsäkartano Youth Centre and Nature Resort in Finland\, where for 7 days we will explore a beautiful natural environment (forest! lake!) as well as various sporty and crafty activities. \nTogether with us there will be participants from \n\n\nThe Estonian LGBT Association (Estonia) \n\n\nGrupa ‘’IZAĐI” (Serbia) \n\n\nSaplinq (Slovakia) \n\n\nMetsäkartano Youth Centre (Finland) \n\n\nThat’s it!
