SUMMARY:Advocacy training
DESCRIPTION:ADVOCACY? \nWhat exactly is advocacy? How should our association tackle it? What changes are we fighting for that can be achieved through advocacy activities? \nAt Ljubljana Pride Association\, we have invested a lot of effort and work in recent years in strategic development\, professionalization of the organization\, development of new expert programs… now the time has come when we will reach towards the next step – more systematic work for change at the political and legislative level. And of course\, first of all we have to learn new approaches and gain knowledge so that we can really achieve lasting impact and change. \nThus\, between September 20 and 22\, the entire team of the association will embark on a three-day intensive advocacy training. The key achievement we are striving for is the development of the advocacy strategy of the SQVOT program – a program for reducing the consequences of minority stress. \nThe training and strategic development in the field of advocacy is made possible by the financial support of ILGA Europe and its program No One Left Behind.
