SUMMARY:International training: Inclusive Organisations
DESCRIPTION:Between 25th of September and 1st of October\, we are hosting an international training course during which we will further develop a certification scheme for inclusive organizations. \nWhat does that mean? \nAll over Europe\, we have countless organizations\, associations\, institutes\, youth centers\, public offices… that are supposed to be open to all (young) people\, regardless of their personal circumstances\, such as LGBTIQ+ identity\, origin\, skin color… But in practice it turns out that\, unfortunately\, if we just think that we are inclusive for all\, it does not mean that we are actually inclusive for all. \nTogether with international partners from Spain\, Austria and Italy Ljubljana Pride Association is developing a certification scheme for organizations that want to work on becoming (more) inclusive. We are developing both the model itself\, the steps how an organization can join it\, what it needs do\, training modules for organizations\, as well as what organizations get from it… All this and much more is the subject of the training. \nSo\, what will be the result? \nMore on that in October.
