SUMMARY:Call for new trainers
DESCRIPTION:Join Ljubljana Pride’s pool of trainers!\nFor over two years\, the Ljubljana Pride Association has been organizing activities for LGBTIQ+ youth that cover many different relevant topics through the methods of non-formal education. These trainings and workshops have been carried out by the 9 members of our pool of trainers. This year\, you can become one of them! \nInterested? Continue reading! \nWe are inviting everyone who: \n\nidentifies as LGBTIQ+\nhas previous experience with managing group processes\, non-formal education\, and/or other pedagogical knowledge\nis motivated to learn and develop their training competencies\nis looking for long-term cooperation\ntheir values align with the values of the Ljubljana Pride Association\n\nIt’s a plus if: \n\nyou work with (LGBTIQ+) NGOs\nyou have previously attended an international event based on non-formal education (seminars\, trainings\, exchanges\, study visits …)\nyou can comfortably use English to present a topic in front of a group\n\nWhat do we expect from a potential trainer? \n\nattendance at the introductory training\nattendance at monthly trainers’ meetings (Monday afternoons)\navailability to implement the organization’s training projects\nattendance at other projects\, preparation and evaluation meetings\nmotivation for personal and professional development\n\nWhat do we offer? \n\nan introductory training on November 17th 2018 in Ljubljana\na cooperation agreement that defines the trainer’s and the organization’s rights and responsibilities\nif need be\, return of travel fees for mandatory activities (meetings\, trainings …)\npayment according to the organization’s tariffs (50 € net for the implementation of a shorter workshop – up to two hours\, 100 € net for a full training day; preparations paid on a case-by-case basis)\nan opportunity to attend national or international trainings (fees and travel costs covered)\nmonthly workshops and trainings for the team\, mentoring\, job shadowing\nan opportunity to work outside the organization’s activities\nworking with a team of experienced and motivated trainers\n\nHow to apply? \nSend your CV and a motivational letter (in which you present your personal values and how they align with the values of the Ljubljana Pride Association\, and your motivation to become a trainer in our organization) to trenerke.ji@gmail.com before November 3rd 2018. The results of the selection will be known on November 11th. On Saturday\, November 17th\, there will be a whole-day training for trainers with mandatory attendance for the selected trainers.\nThe procedure: \n\nafter successfully applying you will be invited to the training for trainers\nafter the training\, you make a decision together with the organization if you wish to continue the cooperation\nif you are accepted to the pool of trainers\, you sign the cooperation agreement\nyaaay\, now off to work! 🙂
