SUMMARY:Workshop “Precarious ways”
DESCRIPTION:This August 3rd we are organising an interactive workshop titled “Precarious ways” for the visiting group of our summer youth exchange. The workshop is dedicated to raising awareness about precarity and navigating the job market for young people\, shining a light on the specific circumstances faced by the members of the LGBTIQ+ community within this. \nWe repeat the workshop monthly for local youth as well – follow us on social media and apply as a participant on the next available date\, or spread the word to people who might benefit from it! \nAt the workshop you will learn about: \nhow to identify precarious jobs\, \nworker’s rights\, duties and where to find information about them\, \nhow to recognize discriminatory practices\, draw attention to them and prevent them\, \nhow to write a CV and prepare for a job interview\, \nhow to be self-employed; open your own small business\, pay contributions and taxes… \nand more! \nIf you have any questions\, feel free to contact Evan at evan@‌ljubljanapride.org.
