SUMMARY:Youth exchange
DESCRIPTION:The exchange will provide participants with inspiration\, motivation\, and practical skills to continue advocating for LGBTIQ+ rights in their own countries\, as well as information and tools on how to protect themselves from the risks that are often associated with this type of activism. \nParticipants will become familiar with different forms of activism\, with a particular focus on the concept of “in-the-closet” activism. The exchange will place a strong emphasis on community building\, strengthening self-confidence\, empowerment\, and mutual support. \nBy the end of the exchange\, participants will be better equipped with the knowledge and skills needed for self-protection in their local contexts (in relation to their LGBTIQ+ activism)\, will feel less isolated\, and more empowered and inspired to continue their fight.
