{"id":11865,"date":"2026-08-10T12:01:02","date_gmt":"2026-08-10T10:01:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ljubljanapride.org\/?p=11865"},"modified":"2026-08-10T12:01:04","modified_gmt":"2026-08-10T10:01:04","slug":"we-are-looking-for-an-esc-volunteer-junior-lgbtiq-community-manager-in-ljubljana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ljubljanapride.org\/en\/we-are-looking-for-an-esc-volunteer-junior-lgbtiq-community-manager-in-ljubljana\/","title":{"rendered":"We are looking for an ESC volunteer: junior LGBTIQ+ community manager in Ljubljana"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Ljubljana Pride Association is looking for a volunteer for the position of<br><strong>Junior LGBTIQ+ community manager<\/strong> as a part of the European Solidarity Corps Programme!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Start of the activity: between 1.10.2026 &#8211; 1.11.2026&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>End of the activity: 31.5.2027&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Duration: 7 &#8211; 8 months<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Location of the activity: Ljubljana, Slovenia<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We are looking for someone who:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Is a (LGBTIQ+) young person and\/or a young person facing intersectional discrimination, aged 18\u201330<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is a resident of an EU country<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Has a strong interest in LGBTIQ+ organisations, topics, and politics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Has previous work or volunteer experience in organising LGBTIQ+ events<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is responsible, proactive, and takes initiative<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is comfortable working in an office environment with a regular office routine<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is also available to occasionally work in the field, including evenings and weekends\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is communicative, outgoing, and enthusiastic about working with LGBTIQ+ youth and peers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Can communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Your tasks will primarily include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Supporting the SQVOT Programme: supporting the organisation and implementation of community activities for LGBTIQ+ (young) people who experience homelessness and LGBTIQ+ applicants for international protection in Slovenia;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting the Youth Programme: supporting the organisation and implementation of activities for LGBTIQ+ young people on topics such as queerness, active citizenship, activism, sustainability and creation of sustainable materials;\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Co-organising events and activities of the Association in the field, including the support of week-long international residential activities or public events around the country;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting the day-to-day office work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The project includes fully funded travel, insurance, accommodation, food expenses and pocket money.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can learn more about this opportunity on the ESC website here: <a href=\"https:\/\/youth.europa.eu\/solidarity\/opportunity\/53659_en\">https:\/\/youth.europa.eu\/solidarity\/opportunity\/53659_en<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apply until 1st of September 2026 by sending us a CV and motivation letter to <a href=\"mailto:volunteering@jubljanapride.org\">volunteering@jubljanapride.org<\/a>.
