Despite the heatwave, the theme of the exchange \u2013 Sustainable Activism \u2013 inspired us to engage in exciting and thought-provoking conversations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout the week, we explored LGBTIQ+ activism in Serbia, Montenegro, Armenia, Moldova, Slovakia and Poland, along with the local and national contexts. We discussed challenges ranging from legal and administrative barriers to deeply rooted hostile social norms. While our realities differ, we found that the responses and strategies we use to tackle these challenges can be remarkably similar!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exchange reminded us that young people carry the future. Thank you to everyone who contributed through your thoughts, actions and conversations.
