Pride Connects January &#8211; Infopaper"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Clothing is an important part when it comes to identification and presentation of one&#8217;s own gender.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clothing can be a burden on the one hand and a liberating expression on the other. It can be political, moving and transformative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For people who identify as LGBTIQ+, clothing can be even more important when it comes to gender expression.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"729\" src=\"https:\/\/ljubljanapride.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Foto-Instagram-1024x729.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5510\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s why in January we dedicated ourselves to the topic of gender expression through clothing. In a Second Hand store we tested different styles, let strangers dress us and experienced how clothing can affect our behavior and feelings.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What makes you insecure, what makes you strong? Which clothes reflect your view on yourself, and can that change from day to day?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With those questions we guidelined ourselves through our very own understanding of gender expression.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"763\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/ljubljanapride.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Foto-Instagram_5-763x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5512\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Clothes are just a piece of fabric &#8211; clothes cannot have a gender.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But we grow up in a society that tells us there is male and female clothing? This view is more than outdated.
