You are between 18-30 years old and an EU resident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We specifically welcome trans and non-binary youth, LGBTIQ+ youth with immigrant backround and LGBTIQ+ youth with lived experience of homelessness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are looking for a person who has interest in the area of supporting the daily operations of the programme addressing mental health of LGBTIQ+ community and homelessness\/housing exclusion among LGBTIQ + young people. The programme provides counseling for LGBTIQ+ people and their families, short-term crisis accommodation, research and advocacy work, community fieldwork and preventive and support services for young LGBTIQ+ people at-risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TASKS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Participating in the regular field work.<\/li><li>Promotion of the programme activities.<\/li><li>Supporting the organisation of topically related events.<\/li><li>Providing peer support.<\/li><li>Supporting the project management of the projects.<\/li><li>Supporting with organising the Ljubljana Pride Festival 2023.<\/li><li>Supporting with the daily operations in the office (logistical &amp; administrative support).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About you:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>You\u2019re LGBTIQ+, sociable and have a proactive attitude.<\/li><li>Comfortable with working in office environments and having an office routine.<\/li><li>Able to fluently communicate in English.<\/li><li>Have previous volunteering or working experience.<\/li><li>Have interest in the topic of LGBTIQ+ youth housing issues.<\/li><li>Share enthusiasm about organising events for the community.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the organisation:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mainly known as the organisers of the annual LGBTIQ+ parade, Ljubljana Pride Association is a youth-based, anti-racist, feminist, LGBTIQ+ association active all year long, fighting against discrimination of all LGBTIQ+ people and their intersecting identities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>General description:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will be included in the daily work and activities of the association. You will be supported by a working coordinator and a mentor.
