Ljubljana Pride Association is looking for 15 young LGBTIQ+ volunteers for a 1 month ESC (European Solidarity Corps) project!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019re an LGBTIQ+ young person aged between 18 and 30 years old. You are a resident of the EU and you have a strong interest in LGBTIQ+ organisations, topics and politics. You\u2019re sociable, fluent in English, enjoy working in a team and are not afraid to step out of your comfort zone. We are interested to hear why you would like to volunteer with us, with a focus on why you are applying to an LGBTIQ+-specific organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You will be involved in the co-creation of the programme of the Pride Parade Festival organised by Ljubljana Pride Association. This means you will be (physically) working together on the implementation of different activities and events, from exhibitions, round table discussion, workshops, concerts, conferences and of course, the annual Pride Parade! You\u2019ll be working closely with our team and the other volunteers to ensure this year\u2019s Festival runs smoothly by carrying out the following tasks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Once the Festival starts: making sure all of the agreed things are happening
After the festival: cleaning and evaluation of your month with us.
The work will take place at the office as well as at different venues outside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The project includes:
\u2013 Fully funded travel and accommodation;
\u2013 Covered food expenses and pocket money;
\u2013 Group mentoring and Youthpass certificate at the end of the activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the start of the volunteering, we will organise an all day on-arrival training for the whole group. On the training we will get to know each other a bit better, present the Festival programme and the team, agree how we want to work together, present the ESC programme and its elements \u2013 including the mentorship and the youth pass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the application deadline we will organise interviews with the selected candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
