Ekvalis is a dedicated organization committed to creating safe spaces and opportunities for LGBTIQ+ youth and their allies. Recently, they faced an overwhelming wave of hate and threats after announcing their Summer School for LGBTI+ Youth and Allies. Shortly after promoting their Summer School, Ekvalis faced severe backlash, including threats and calls for violence. This hostility was incited by prominent figures like Ljupco Ristevski and Gordana Godzo, leading to a dangerous environment that forced the school to relocate under strict security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why are we sharing this? As the Ljubljana Pride Association, we believe in solidarity and standing up against hate. The scale and organization of the hatred Ekvalis received are shocking, but it strengthens our resolve to support them. We signed their open letter of support and invite you to do the same. We signed an open letter demanding justice and state intervention. We stand firmly in support of Ekvalis\u2019 team and their mission. We urge the state to punish those inciting violence and recognize the anti-gender movement as a national security risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Join us in supporting Ekvalis. Any organization, institution, informal group, collective, or academic community can stand in solidarity by signing the letter.
