Rents are unreasonably high, apartments are often inadequate, and rental conditions exploitative. Meanwhile, young people and marginalized communities are expected to remain productive, adaptable, and keep a smile on their face.<\/p>\n<p>Day after the International Day of Homelessness, we are joining forces with Pritli\u010dje and Dru\u0161tvo \u0160tikla to present a drag show that casts light on the housing crisis through art. Drag performers, many of whom know these struggles from personal experience, will confront the absurdity of today\u2019s housing conditions with humor and a critical point of view \u2013 showing what it really means to survive when having a home is anything but guaranteed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>On stage:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Karmen Da\u0161<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 the evening\u2019s hostess, who knows how to get by without a couch<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prof. Pederik Kunt<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 with a PhD in terrifying rental contracts<\/li>\n<li><strong>Miss Sin Kunt<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 playful and defiant, laughing at skyrocketing rents<\/li>\n<li><strong>Johnny Smash<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 the best neighbor you never had<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"an1 CToWUd\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/fonts.gstatic.com\/s\/e\/notoemoji\/16.0\/1f4c5\/32.png\" alt=\"\ud83d\udcc5\" data-emoji=\"\ud83d\udcc5\" aria-label=\"\ud83d\udcc5\" data-bit=\"iit\" \/>\u00a0<strong>11 October, 19:00, Pritli\u010dje (outdoors between the tables; indoors in case of rain)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This event is an artistic protest against the absurdities that shape our living conditions. Drag does not only entertain \u2013 it exposes the housing crisis as more than an individual issue.
