Dear *lesbians,
\nyou are invited to come and warm yourselves up at the second *Lesbian bar of the season!<\/p>\n
This time our inspiration is the 50s and 60s lesbian scene. The title of our event comes from a book titled \u201cSin Girls\u201d, written by Marlene Longman. There is quite some lesbian literature from the era and that means quite some representation of women who were in relationships with women. A lot of times the cover, title and even content of the book was decided by the editor or publishing house. Lesbian relationships were fetishized and marked as abnormal, unholy and perverse. Our goal is like so many times before to take back this representation and tailor it in our own way. And also, lez bi honest, the outfit ideas are so good and so many.<\/p>\n
We want to revive the energy that lesbian bars had at the time and celebrate the evolution of identities like butch and femme. We also want to remember the first *Lesbian bar event, that happened in 2016 and had a similar historical theme, focusing on the 20s and 30s. You can flip through some photos from the last one at the bar.<\/p>\n
*LESBIANS GOT TALENT! This season things are a bit different. You can still lip-sync or do karaoke, but also feel free to express other talents too! Perform poetry, a stand-up routine, play an instrument, dance, sing – whatever your heart desires<\/p>\n
*Lesbian talent is infinite so we invite you to apply and share yours with the audience. Each person\/group prepares a performance and let the best one win!<\/p>\n

This school year your jury will be the audience, so make sure to bring your fans. \ud83d\ude09 The winner will be declared by voting, but you will get extra points assigned if you use the theme in your performance and\/or outfit. The points will be assigned to you by time-traveling lesbian hosts Katja and Martina.<\/p>\n
After announcing the best *lesbian performance we continue by hitting the dancefloor.

Timeline:
\nHanging out and connecting: 9.00 PM – 11.00 PM
\nShow: 11.00 PM – 1.00 AM
\nDJ program: 1.00 AM – 3.00 AM<\/p>\n
Everyone who comes to hangout to the *Lesbian bar before 10.00 PM is rewarded with an entrance stamp for the whole night.<\/p>\n
Entrance in the *Lesbian bar is free until 11.00 PM, after that regular entry of 5 \u20ac is charged which is meant to cover the costs of the *Lesbian bar.<\/p>\n
But pay attention! If you want the entrance stamp which means you can go in and out during the event while not paying the entrance, you should be there before 10.00 PM. From 10.00 PM to 11.00 PM the entrance will still but you will not get the stamp unless you pay.<\/p>\n
*Lesbian bar is a space by & for lesbians, bisexuals, trans women, nonbinary people, queers and everyone that is united by a desire for the other.<\/p>\n
The doors will be open to anyone and together we will make sure that the *Lesbian bar is a safe space where sexism, homophobia, biphobia, transphobia and racism have no place.<\/p>\n
