Volunteers will be included in the steering team and will be able to experiment first-hand what it is like to be part of organising a Pride Festival and parade.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About you:<\/strong> You\u2019re sociable, fluent in English, and enjoy working in a team and are not afraid to step out of your comfort zone.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Typical tasks of the volunteer include:<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; Technical and logistical support during &amp; after each event<br \/>\n&#8211; Hosting &amp; logistical support towards guests and participants<br \/>\n&#8211; Social media communication<br \/>\n&#8211; Promotion of events and the Association<br \/>\n&#8211; Making merchandise and helping to fundraise<br \/>\n&#8211; Photo and video recording<\/p>\n<p><strong>The volunteers will gain competences in:<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; Group work<br \/>\n&#8211; Working in an intercultural environment<br \/>\n&#8211; Communication, technical and logistical competences<br \/>\n&#8211; Learning about project management (e.g., how to manage smaller one-day events like exhibitions, workshops and parties)<\/p>\n<p><strong>The project includes:<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; Fully funded travel and accommodation<br \/>\n&#8211; Covered food expenses and pocket money<br \/>\n&#8211; Mentoring and Youthpass certificate<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to apply:<\/strong><br \/>\nSend us your CV and expression of interest in volunteering for us!<\/p>\n<h4>Deadline: 15th of April 2020<\/h4>\n<h4><strong>Contact:<\/strong> evs@ljubljanapride.org<\/h4>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Looking for volunteers!
