This time at Pride Connects, we will have a discussion about trans representation in cinema. Why is the trans community so critical of the majority of movies that cover trans topics? What could be done to improve the situation? The discussion will be moderated by a trans activist and a coordinator of transgender meet-ups at Kvartir, Verity Ritchie. It will be held in English.

After the discussion we invite you to join us at the screening of the Girl at Kinodvor at 9.15pm. Girl is a movie about a young trans ballerina that has received a lot of international awards but also a lot of critique from the LGBTIQ+ community for its trans representation.

The movie will be screened with Slovene subtitles.
