Holidays can be tough for queer people and this year has all the potential to be even tougher. With this online Pride Connects workshop we want to lighten up the mood with sharing some dramatic scenarios and our best and worst holiday moments!

Join us on Zoom on Tuesday 1st December from 6-8PM.

Together we will use digital tools to get creative with comic-making and scenario-creation, as a way to ease us into talking about our holiday experiences.

You might not walk away with a perfect recipe for coming out to your conservative uncle Jože, but at least you’ll blow off some steam.

The event will be in English, with a Slovene-speaker present for support if needed.

With ‘Pride Connects’, we strive to connect the local LGBTIQ+ youth, activists, and all those interested in the political side of Pride(s) and LGBTIQ+ Human Rights Struggles in Slovenia and across the world. We know that being an openly LGBTIQ+ person and existing in any public space is a political act, and we know it is not easy – so we want to create a safe(r) space for all LGBTIQ+ people and a place of empowerment.
