Long – term training of trainers youth workers on hate speech
Transformation of hate speech is a project that will be implemented in cooperation with five European non-governmental organizations from Finland, Portugal, Ireland, Slovenia and Scotland, and will offer youth workers knowledge about alternative responses to the occurrence of hate speech in the processes of youth work and non-formal education.
During the trainings, the trainers will develop a training module, which they will initially test, as a team, in their home country and co-create a toolkit for identifying, solving and transforming hate speech among young people.
The first of the three trainings will be held at the M Hotel in Ljubljana between the 24th and 30th of September 2017. Two international training trainings will be held in December 2017 and in the Autumn of 2018 in Portugal.
