In this event we will explore the history of Eurovision and how it has become a show that showcases queer people all around Europe and represents them within the mainstream! 🇪🇺🏳️‍🌈
We will discuss transformative acts such as Conchita Wurst’s rise, Sestre challenging acceptance in Slovenia, Marija Šerifović’s groundbreaking victory, Krista Siegfrieds advocating for equal marriage in Finland and Israel’s strategic Pinkwashing.
Eurovision is a colossal cultural diplomacy tool on many levels, so it’s time to recognize its enduring impact on shaping a more tolerant and diverse European cultural landscape. 🌈✨

This event is for everyone, whether you’re a seasoned fan or just curious about it. Join us on Thursday, 18. 1., in Legebitra’s Youth Center. We will be there between 5 and 7pm.
