Network of Inclusive Schools

The programme is designed to provide in-depth training for teaching and professional staff in schools. It is primarily developed based on the needs of the members of the Network of Inclusive Schools and is intended first and foremost for them.

We will deliver four training sessions, each consisting of 8 teaching hours and 1 hour of evaluation.

Before each training session, participants will receive relevant literature or specific tasks to help them prepare. After each training session, participants will receive additional literature and information in the form of handouts.

Each training session will focus on a different topic.

Indicative training topics:

  • LGBTIQ+ basics, or the ABCs of LGBT,
  • intersectionality among young people,
  • basics of transgender identities and experiences,
  • prevention in the field of LGBTIQ+ young people’s mental health,
  • creating safer school environments to prevent addiction and mental health difficulties among LGBTIQ+ young people,
  • addressing the medicalisation of mental distress and exploring alternatives,
  • strengthening and applying tools for addressing LGBTIQ+ topics in schools,
  • strengthening and applying tools to support the mental health of LGBTIQ+ young people and prevent addiction.
