Intersex people’s rights

17. May 2019 od 18:0019:30

On the occasion of this year’s International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia  (IDAHOBIT), we invite you to a discussion on the current situation of intersex people’s rights in Europe.

We will discuss with the European Member and candidate for a new mandate dr. Igor Šoltes and with activists who are working on this topic in Slovenia. We will talk about the importance of the European Parliament Resolution on the rights of intersex people (2018/2878 (RSP)) adopted in February this year.

If you are interested in these questions:

  • Where does the power of the European Parliament Resolution lie?

  • What are the main problems in accessing human rights of intersex people in Europe and Slovenia?

  • How can we engage with each other and make sure that unnecessary operations on intersex babies are prohibited in Slovenia?

You are kindly invited to this event!
