The workshop “ABC on Racialised Youth” takes place as part of the inclusive organisations certification process. It is conducted in Slovene, with the possibility of parts being held in English due to the participation of a person with lived experience of racism who does not speak Slovene.

Introduce the participants to the experience of racism by racialised (young) people (living in Slovenia) by building an understanding of what racism is and how it functions.

1. Participants will gain a basic understanding of the concept of racism and power relations.
2. Participants will explore dynamics of invisible racism with focus on microaggressions; as well as reflect upon privilege and prejudices in correlation to racism.
3. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the lived experiences of racism on racialised (young) people (living in Slovenia) and they will reflect their organisational role in creating a more inclusive environment for racialised (young) people.

Members of the Impro Association, who are taking part in the inclusive organisations certification process, will participate in the workshop.
