How do you dress and how does your style define you?

According to research, people spend around 9.5 months of their lives choosing their clothes. In January we will add one whole month in which we analyze the topic of clothing and self expression through the way we dress.

We will start on 04.01.2022 with a practical meeting – where we will go to a second hand shop. With different methodologies we want to experience how clothes define ourselves and the way other people see and define us. How is the way we dress part of our gender expression?

At the following Pride Connects, 18.01.2022, we will reflect on our experiences and discover sustainable ways of clothing and shopping.

This event is primarily aimed at young LGBTQ+ people and will take place at Ljubljana Pride’s office, Dunajska cesta 10, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenija.

At the event, we will take into account all preventive measures to contain the epidemic, such as wearing masks, disinfecting and washing hands and maintaining mutual distance. Event participants must meet the RVT (recovered / vaccinated / tested) requirement.

The event will be held in English.
