You are invited to the next Pride Connects activity, Queer-EUtopia, where we will continue the topic and approach of the previous one: imagine how it would look like an utopian society for LGBTIQ+ people.

However, the ideas that we will discuss will be brand new, so don’t be afraid to come for the first time!

This activity is included in the ‘Pride Connects’ program, and our main goal is to foster connections among the local LGBTIQ+ youth, activists and individuals passionate about the political aspects of Pride and LGBTIQ+ Human Rights Struggles in Slovenia and worldwide, as well as establish a safer space for all members of the LGBTIQ+ community, offering a platform for empowerment and support.

For ‘Queer-EUtopia’, we will focus more around the European Union. The activity will consist of making a collage about an European Union in which, thanks to the political participation of citizens, an utopian society has been achieved for LGBTIQ+ people by the year 2050. By reflecting on this topic, we will highlight the importance of the European Parliament Elections in 2024 and the political involvement of the citizens in the fight for LGBTIQ+ rights in a non-formal way.
