This September, Ljubljana Pride will host an International Training Seminar on the topic of LGBTIQ+ youth homelessness and mental health!

The seminar will bring together 25 social workers, youth workers, psychologists, mental health professionals, shelter staff and volunteers from Slovenia, France and Poland, who come into contact with LGBTIQ+ youth who are experiencing homelessness and housing exclusion through their work. 

The programme will focus on international exchange, training and capacity building, offering participants opportunities to deepen their skills, share best practices, and explore topics related to their work with beneficiaries, as well as staff and volunteer wellbeing.

This seminar is part of the wider project ‘Re-BUILD: Building Understanding and Inclusive Learning for the Development of mental health support’ in partnership with Foundation Le Refuge (FR) and Lambda Warszawa (PL). 

The project aims to strengthen LGBTIQ+ shelters across Europe by integrating mental health support for LGBTIQ+ young adults experiencing homelessness through training, capacity building and awareness raising.
