Ljubljana Pride Association is participating in the international training on Sex Education in Youth Work and Education, which will take place from August 26 to September 2 in Berlin and is organised by our partner organisation, Loesje e.V.

The training is intended for youth workers, activists, teachers (and others who work with young people) who wish to expand their knowledge and understanding of sex education.

In addition to participants from Slovenia, the training will also include participants from Germany, North Macedonia, Italy, Cyprus, Lithuania, Turkey, Serbia, and Spain.

The training focuses on:

• the importance of sex education and, specifically, the concept of consent;

• dispelling taboos and myths related to sexuality;

• exchanging knowledge and practices in the field of sex education;

• finding creative ways to integrate sex education into youth work and education.
