Following last week’s workshop Intersex and Proud: delavnica o interspolnosti, a collaboration between Zavod TransAkcija and Ljubljana Pride, we invite you for a screening of the documentary No Box for me. An Intersex Story, a documentary that focuses on the story of an intersex person and how they, like so many others, have dealt with the physical and psychological implications of having had medically unnecessary surgeries as children, to “fix” their bodies, in a way that society deems “normal”.

With ‘PRIDE CONNECTS’, we strive to connect the local LGBTIQ+ youth, activists, and all those interested in the political side of Pride(s) and LGBTIQ+ Human Rights Struggles in Slovenia and across the world. We know that being an openly LGBTIQ+ person and walking down any public space is a political act, and we know it is not easy – so we want to create a safe(r) space for all LGBTIQ+ people and a place of empowerment.
