For the next Pride connects we will do a participatory trash writing session, also known as creative writing! Together we will brainstorm and let our minds wander around the possibilities of queer needs, intimacies, politics, wishes, and write our own queer manifesto!

What do we want, and what do we want NOW? Do you want to put it in words?

Do not worry if you feel you don’t have the writing or language abilities of a Literature major, all you need is to enjoy working in a team and be into group thinking dynamics. The results of this workshop can be anything we want to, so no need to be shy 😉

With ‘PRIDE CONNECTS’, we strive to connect the local LGBTIQ+ youth, activists, and all those interested in the political side of Pride(s) and LGBTIQ+ Human Rights Struggles in Slovenia and across the world. We know that being an openly LGBTIQ+ person and walking down any public space is a political act, and we know it is not easy – so we want to create a safe(r) space for all LGBTIQ+ people and a place of empowerment.
