The handover: from one ESC to another

Pride Connects is being handed over to new ESC volunteers! In this hand over / evaluation / next steps meeting, Marta Torres will share her journey and findings in last years Pride Connects. Then Katja Štefanec and Rob Noon will present the vision for this year. And finally, we will invite participants to share their feedback, experience and suggestions regarding Pride Connects events.
We are excited to hear from you and participate with you since Pride connects main goal is to connect young people who want to do activism and give them the space and tools for it. If you won’t make it to the event and wish to share your opinion, send it to us on katja@ljubljanapride.org, subject: “Pride Connect ideas”. You are also very welcome to join to just listen if you don’t feel like sharing but are interested in the content.
With ‘Pride Connects’, we strive to connect the local LGBTIQ+ youth, activists, and all those interested in the political side of Pride(s) and LGBTIQ+ Human Rights Struggles in Slovenia and across the world.
We know that being an openly LGBTIQ+ person and walking down any public space is a political act, and we know it is not easy – so we want to create a safe(r) space for all LGBTIQ+ people and a place of empowerment.
