We are currently in turbulent times, we are noticing a new rise of homophobia, hate speech targeting the gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans* and many more queer communities. There is a lot of negative news, false news and polarizing discourse regarding the LGBTIQ+ community. To start addressing these topics, find ways to tackle them and create online spaces that are safe, transparent and hate-free for our community, we are planning a youth exchange on Cybersafe Spaces.

We are inviting you to apply to a youth exchange in Brežice, where we will be tackling the following topics:

• • Understanding polarization and the rise of homophobia on digital platforms
  • Raising awareness of misinformation and effective responses
  • Exploring and building (digital) safe spaces
  • Strengthening community resilience in the face of digitalization

You will also be able to meet and hang out with other Queer people from our Lithuanian, Romanian and Slovakian partnering organizations, make new friends and collaborate on creating your community safer.
